Surprising Aged White Wines
Fresh, fragrant, and produced in purity, our white wines are aged for years to become brilliant, with various shades of straw-yellow.
A savory and harmonious Pinot Grigio, a fresh and vanilla-scented Chardonnay, and a floral and mineral Sauvignon. These Vigne del Malina whites stand out among other Friulian white wines because we age them for years, with the same care we dedicate to our vineyards, where most interventions are done by hand.
The grapes are hand-harvested in crates, destemmed, crushed, and pressed. Before pressing, the Chardonnay and Sauvignon spend a night in the tank. After fermentation, the wines are stored in stainless steel tanks for one year and then aged in glass bottles for at least another four years—giving them the time they need to develop.
Before bottling, we use cellulose filtering sheets to remove impurities, resulting in clean, brilliant, and intensely fragrant wines.
