Pure, Full-Bodied, and Structured
From natural grape drying on the vine to aging in Slavonian oak barrels and bottles—without filtration.
Our reds—Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso—are crafted Our red wines—spicy-structured Cabernet Franc, round and persistent Merlot with a rich bouquet, and a delicately fragrant Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso—are crafted from grapes grown using the Guyot training system in our vineyards in Orzano di Remanzacco, near Udine, in northeastern Italy.
We cultivate our vines with great care, always respectful of nature, following a low-impact, non-invasive approach. Much of our work is based on observation—such as recognizing the ideal moment of ripeness, even in the gentle drying of the grapes.
Harvesting is done strictly by hand, using small crates. Fermentation begins in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing the natural sugars to fully ferment. The wine then rests in large Slavonian oak barrels, developing depth and character.
We bottle the wine unfiltered, and store the bottles laid down at a constant temperature, patiently waiting for the right time to enjoy their full expression.
